New Valentine’s Day Solution for Shy, Single Guys

The struggle is real this time of year for us single-folk around Valentine's Day. Little did we know, it might just be, as they say in real estate,  "location, location, location".

AskMen posted a study from dating website Match.com, about the best places to live if you're a shy, single guy. Despite Iowa having some of the best people in the country, it seems the females here are not quite ready to make the first move when it comes to dating. That means the ball is in the guys' court-and there's the problem for me.

I tried to practice this theory last weekend, but failed by not taking the opportunity to introduce myself to a couple women hanging out at a local coffee shop. I can be a bit shy and unsociable at times, quite a surprising contradiction considering I have a job that requires talking and being social.

So, it looks like I should either face my fear, take a vacation (or just move) to increase my odds. If all else fails I could, as another factoid in the full study says, learn to like sushi.
