Watch Nick Jonas' "Bacon" video above.

When Nick Jonas revealed the track list for his sophomore release Last Year Was Complicated, fans and the media alike immediately zeroed in on the peculiar title of one track: "Bacon."

“So many people have asked me what that song is about,” Nick admitted in an interview with Capital FM (via Press Party), somehow surprised people want to know why he named a track after a popular breakfast meat.

“A lot of guesses were: It’s the morning after and it’s bacon because you’re having breakfast,” he continued. “That’s not at all what it’s about.”

Thankfully, Nick did choose to indulge Capital FM listeners with the real meaning behind his oddly titled track, with an explanation that only makes sense if you are an intense bacon lover.

“The idea is when you are out of a relationship and you start to be okay with the fact that it’s ended,” he said. “In my case my life was great, it’s so good that we should throw some bacon on it to make it even better.”

Have you ever thrown bacon onto something to make it better? Do you think Nick Jonas recently stumbled across the onslaught of questionable, bacon-related products sold by trendy retailers like Urban Outfitters in 2008? Will his Last Year Was Complicated song offend vegetarians? Is bacon the most overrated breakfast component on the market? If so, what is wrong with you?
