Yes, you read that right.

As I get older, there are more and more fashion trends that absolutely puzzle me. I saw two news stories this week regarding new styles of jeans that are for sale, and both of them are going to get a hard NO from me.

The first pair of jeans has been on sale for a while at several stores, including Nordstrom, but is just now getting national attention. Nordstrom is selling "The Barracuda Straight Leg Jeans," which look as if they have been caked in mud. No, I'm not making this up. And the cost of these fake muddy jeans? $425! If you're wondering if the mud washes out when you wash the jeans, the answer is no. It's not REAL mud. So basically, it's a look for people who just want to LOOK like they've been doing manual labor.

Mike Rowe, the host of the show Dirty Jobs, is especially irritated by this particular fashion trend. Check out his Facebook rant:

If you want to go the opposite route, there's another new pair of jeans available for purchase that are TOTALLY SEE-THROUGH. I wouldn't actually call them "jeans," considering they aren't made of denim, but I guess Topshop can do whatever they want:

The MOTO Clear Plastic Straight Leg Jeans will only set you back about $100...

What fashion trend do you think needs to go away forever? Let us know in the comments!
