"Leave it to the experts" is sometimes more than just a saying. Turns out, that's exactly who caught this massive fish.

Experts from the Iowa DNR caught the giant 47-pound Muskellunge (below), commonly known as a Muskie, last week in Spirit Lake. The fish was just three pounds short of the 50-pound 6-ounce lunker that holds the state mark. That fish was 52-inches long and was caught in August of 2000, also in Spirit Lake. The DNR pros that caught the 47-pounder last week removed and fertilized the eggs from the fish and released it back into Spirit Lake.

Think you're an expert fisherman/fisherwoman? This girl is waiting for you. However, if you hook her, you'd better have a BIG boat and some stronger test line than that reel of yours probably has now.
