And the Battles have finally begun! Monday night's episode of NBC's 'The Voice" surprised me a bit, because about halfway through the episode they ended the Blind Auditions and jumped right into the Battles! It seems like they're trying to move things along a little more quickly this season, which I definitely appreciate.

My favorite Blind Audition this week was 100% Katrina Cain. She did a stripped-down piano version of Fleetwood Mac's "Rhiannon" and it was absolutely gorgeous:

Katrina ended up winning her battle for Team Blake, so she will live to see the Knockouts!

Moving on to the Battles, the best one HAD to be Team Kelly's Cody Ray and SandyRedd. They did Solomon Burke's "Cry to Me," and it was so good that even though SandyRedd didn't win, all three judges tried to steal her! She chose Team Jennifer as her new home.

Another one of my favorites this week was Team Jennifer's Colton Smith and Patrique Fortson. The battled it out to Blake Shelton's "God Gave Me You," and I honestly liked it more than the original (sorry, Blake!). I'm happy to report that even though Patrique won, Colton was saved by Blake himself! I mean, how could he NOT save him after that performance:

And finally, the last battle I truly loved was between the duo OneUp and Kymberli Joye. Even though OneUp was eliminated, I really thought they nailed their vocals:

Also, shout out to Tyke for confirming his spot on Team Adam. Kelly Clarkson nailed it when she said he looks like a real-life Tarzan, but that, "Tarzan ain't ugly."

Who was your favorite this week? Leave your thoughts in the comments!
