Paramount Theatre Gains National Publicity

Eastern Iowa continues to make amazing strides in its recovery from the flood of 2008, often gaining national recognition in the process. If you've been to the Paramount Theatre in recent years, you know it is an awesome venue. Midwest Living magazine recently toured the theatre and published a review, which you can read on their website.

The holidays are the perfect time to experience this venue's mystique. This weekend, join KDAT, Orchestra Iowa and Ballet Quad Cities for The Nutcracker; next Thursday, December 10 it's the delightfully entertaining An Irish Christmas. December 19-20 brings the annual tradition, Orchestra Iowa's Holiday Spectacular. These are just a few of the events filling the always-crowded holiday schedule at the Paramount. Jim Brickman also returns for the third time in three years when his Comfort and Joy Holiday tour comes to town on New Year's Eve.
