Playtime Poppy Is Back
It is our privilege at KDAT to partner with Playtime Poppy Children's Theatre of Cedar Rapids to bring great family events to the community. So far this season, "James and the Giant Peach" and "Elf: The Musical, Jr." have been great successes.

The show, according to their website, chronicles the adventures of Stellaluna the bat, Verdi the snake, and Pinduli the hyena as they
seek refreshment at a watering hole one hot day, only to find themselves the subjects of a bullying lion’s ridicule. By sharing stories about building self-confidence, these three misfit animals find wisdom, peace, and friendship.
In the meantime, take the youngsters to the Hiawatha Public Library, 150 W. Willman Street in Hiawatha for a free show from Playtime Poppy. "Play in the Snow with Playtime Poppy" takes place Friday, January 20 from 10:30-11:15 a.m. Get more details HERE.
