We know it's only September, but that doesn't mean we can't look forward to the frightening festivities of Halloween! Before we know it, goblins, ghouls, monsters, and all sorts of other creepy creatures will be roaming the Linn County Fairgrounds looking for their next victim.

The Circle of Ash Haunted Attraction in Central City, IA is back for the 2017 season! The 13-night schedule kicks off on Friday, September 29 and runs weekend nights through the end of October. Including extra dates such as Sunday, October 22, Thursday, October 26, and closing night on Sunday October 29.

We hope that thirteen is lucky for us this year. We have thirteen nights in our season, and we will be open Friday the 13th this year.” - Chelsea Haugh, an Owner and Producer of Circle of Ash said in a press release.

The attraction is located on the south side of the Linn County Fairgrounds. It not only features the classic haunted house 'Circle of Ash' you can also scream your way through attractions such as 'Frightmare Forest' which is a creepy walk through the woods (no telling what's in there), and 'Pandamonium', the newly upgraded fog-maze filled with clowns. There's also a bunch of new features too!

We also have three rides available as upgrades: ‘Journey’s End,’ a humorous take on a live burial, ‘Rigged,’ a scary elevator ride, and ‘Shafted,’ a haunted mineshaft ride. These are based on technology not seen anywhere else around here. We have built these from scratch to give our customers a new experience. Last, but not least, is our brand new Escape Room, ‘Obscurité with forty five minutes to escape,” said Haugh.

The best part about all of this is that you can go through the attractions as many times as you want (if you can take it) for one admission price.

It looks like the scary level will be at 10 this year! Want to be a part of the cast? Sign up at HauntActing.com.
