Any excuse to eat chocolate... am I right?

There are a whoooooole lot of dumb holidays out there (thanks, internet), but this is NOT one of those holidays. Today is World Chocolate Day (not to be confused with National Chocolate Day in America on October 28th).

So... why today? Well, the Wikipedia page for World Chocolate Day says:

"It has been stated that 7 July 2016 marks 466 years since chocolate was introduced to Europe."

So TECHNICALLY this holiday is geared a little bit more towards Europeans... but we're a part of the world, so we get to celebrate too! And the best way to do that is to indulge yourself, obviously. This morning I was offered a chocolate sprinkled donut, and I initially refused... but when I heard it was World Chocolate Day, I realized it would be very un-festive of me to refuse, so I happily ate it. See? I HAD to!
