Are Pumpkin Spice Latte M&Ms Worth It?

As September hit, so did pumpkin season. It's time for pumpkin-flavored everything, everywhere. Drinks, breakfast food, bread, candies, etc... We've gone more and more pumpkin nuts every year. This year adds a new addition with one of our favorite classic candies -- M&M's.

I am by no means a pumpkin spice fanatic who has to try all these crazy items. While I certainly don't crave it, I do enjoy trying some of them from time to time. I usually pick up a thing of pumpkin spice bagels at some point, and maybe a pumpkin ale, possibly even at least one pumpkin spice coffee. However, when I saw the Pumpkin Spice Latte M&M's, I had to grab a bag. After all, at its base, it's chocolate, so it has to be decently tasty, right?

For me, they're not too bad. Maybe a 3.5 out of 5 stars. There's only a slight hint of pumpkin, as well as a slight hint of coffee, but neither overpowers. The coffee almost gives it a dark chocolate kick. It's a pretty good mix, although there's a slight aftertaste, but it's neither good or bad really, just something a bit different. I admittedly devoured the bag pretty quick. So will I pick up another bag this season, or eagerly anticipate their return next year? Probably not. But I did enjoy them.
