Dubuque Hosts 3rd Annual Tri-State Black Business Weekend

In a resounding celebration of entrepreneurship, innovation, and community, the 3rd Annual Tri-State Black Business Weekend is set to captivate attendees this weekend, beginning tonight (8/25) at 6pm, through Sunday (8/27). This year, the event's theme, "Young, Gifted, and Black," is an homage to the incredible talent and potential within the Black business and professional community. Events take place at Q Casino tonight and tomorrow.

Kicking off tonight (8/25), the event begins with an exclusive awards ceremony spotlighting outstanding businesses and individuals who have demonstrated exceptional contributions. This invitation only evening transitions into a dynamic networking mixer, featuring the tunes of DJ Jeff Danna and hosted by EMCEE Tone Da Boss, fostering connections and camaraderie among guests.

Tomorrow (8/26) promises an enriching lineup, with two speakers delivering insightful demonstrations to empower aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners. With DJ's Matt Zills Gregory, The Mixologist DJ Adam Ant, and DJ Papi spinning tunes, the park will resonate with energy, creating a perfect setting for relaxation and connection. Stop in for fun from noon until 5pm.
