Rediscovering A Community Treasure and Expanding a Fun Hobby

I have spent so much money over the years to feed one of my favorite hobbies -- reading. My house even feels like a library sometimes.

Since I tend to favor the higher-priced categories of non-fiction and biography, often without the patience to wait for them on paperback, this hobby is becoming more and more costly.

I haven't quite gotten on the e-reader bandwagon, and I still often find books worth buying and keeping, so I was extremely pleased when I recently found an awesome alternative to spending so much money on books --  the public library. I can go and take home as much adventure and entertainment as I want, without spending a dime.
