It was a perfect day to begin 2016 for the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California. We were 13 rows above the street and got photos of many of the 90-plus entries in the two-hour-long parade.

It's estimated that nearly one million people invade Pasadena for the annual parade each year. New Year's Day began with a 5 am call to be on the buses to head to the parade in order to arrive inside the parade area before street closures took effect. Here's nearly 60 of this year's entries:
