Sir Elton John Is Coming Soon To Moline!

Hard to believe, isn't it?

We are now just a little more than a week away from the huge concert that was announced last Spring. Sir Elton John is coming to the TaxSlayer Center in Moline on Friday, November 10.

KDAT congratulates Amy Bergstrom, Sue Nosko, Pam Miler and Carolyn Bailey, who each took home a pair of tickets to this concert in the 5th through 2nd rows, as part of our "5, 4, 3, 2,1" Elton ticket giveaway.

Kathy Gritton was our lucky grand prize winner, with front row seats. Her and her guest will also join us as we escort them to the concert in style, in a Diamond Limousine! We can't wait and we know they can't either!

If you're wondering what songs Elton John will play in Moline, from among his lengthy career of over four decades, his recent shows in Las Vegas may give us a preview.

"Bennie and the Jets"? Check. "Your Song"? Check. "Philadelphia Freedom" and "Crocodile Rock"? Yes and yes. All the way up to his '80s, '90s and latter career highlights, "The Circle of Life" and more. With a few omissions, I don't think we're going to be able to go wrong with any of it.

What am I most looking forward to hearing? I am most partial to those '80s classics like "I'm Still Standing" and "I Guess That's Why They Call It the Blues".
