Small-Town Drugstore Gives Shoppers a Cool Freebie

The extreme heat and humidity continue this week in Iowa and elsewhere, but one small-town, family-owned drug store in South Dakota offers relief year-round.

Wall Drug in Wall, S.D. provides its customers with free glasses of ice water. Free water? It doesn't sound like a real exciting gimmick, but consider that today's high in the small town of about 800 is forecast to be 99 degrees.

This refreshing freebie makes the drug store the place to be in this town, and is a good example of attentive customer service.
