For months now, fans worldwide have been hoping for a Spice Girls 20th anniversary reunion and it seems that Mel B has all but confirmed that something is on the horizon.

While speaking with Express, Mel B said: "It is out twentieth anniversary this year and it would be rude not to celebrate so hopefully something will be happening pretty soon."

Her lips were sealed, however, when she was pressed for details. "I can’t tell you what it is yet!"

A rumor in October suggested that the Spice Girls could be joining the Backstreet Boys as part of a new worldwide joint tour. Mel B, Melanie C, Emma Burton, Geri Halliwell, and Victoria Beckham reunited briefly in 2007 and 2008 for a world tour, and last performed together at the closing ceremony for the 2012 London Olympic Games.

The Spice Girls first dominated world charts in 1996 with the release of their hits, "Wannabe" and "Say You'll Be There." Their first album Spice sold nearly 30 million albums worldwide.
