While "Awww" might be the perfect name for a puppy since that's the first word many people make when seeing one, it has yet to catch on. In fact, it seems like pet owners aren't changing at all when it comes to picking a name for their puppies.

I got the chance to fill in for Gregg Scharnau this week for the Pet Project, and Lonnie brought in the sweetest little black Chihuahua named Chalupa to meet me.  Not only did we get to know him better, we talked about Thanksgiving safety for our pets.

A great big puppy dog stopped in to KDAT today and we all fell in love with Crimson. Visit the Cedar Valley Humane Society and say hello to this fellow.

Whiskas made a return stop here at KDAT. He's been in the Cedar Valley Humane Society's care since early June. He is a very friendly and relaxed boy with a great attitude! He gets along just fine with dogs, and he loves to help with paperwork and typing...

Jan and Lonnie from the Cedar Valley Humane Society introduced a great cat on this week's Pet Project. Take a look at Jericho and stop out to the CVHS and meet him.
