Thanks For Supporting The Backpack Giveback

Marie's Jewelry & Accessories in downtown Cedar Rapids has wrapped up a successful "Backpack Giveback", collecting numerous backpack and school supply donations to help students in our community have what they need this coming school year. We join them in thanking you for your help.

During the promotion, we also invited you to sign up for a Half-Price Books Gift card. Congratulations to Connie Semotan of Tipton for being the winning entry in this gift card drawing.

Local kids will be ready for school and Connie will be ready to read her favorite titles to her heart's content.
