A couple of weeks ago I was scrolling through my Facebook newsfeed, when I came across an interesting video. I don't watch a ton of videos on Facebook, but this one caught my eye for some reason. Just as I was getting invested in the video, it was all of a sudden interrupted by an advertisement. A message popped up that said, "your ad will continue in 30 seconds." I was NOT happy. I actually stopped watching the video out of spite! Put the ad at the beginning of the video, not as it's getting good right in the middle! COME ON, Facebook! That's just plain rude!

After encountering this three or four times, I Googled the mid-video advertisement to see if anybody else had noticed it. From what I gather, it's been going on for like half a year. I'm happy to report, though, that other people seem to be just as irritated with the feature as I am. In the grand scheme of life I know this isn't even a tiny bit important, but I spend a TON of time on Facebook for my job, so sometimes I can't help but get irritated by little things.
