The Lights of Heaven Are On For Marsha

Marsha Light was the terminally ill cancer patient whose community set out to ensure she'd get to celebrate Christmas this year. Back in October, as the town of Mt. Vernon lit up their Christmas lights and decorations for her, it was our honor to program two hours of holiday music as a soundtrack to accompany the event.

We're so sorry to tell you that Marsha has passed away. We were humbled to join hands with this Eastern Iowa community to allow her to celebrate the holidays. As we prepare to flip our switch to 24/7 Christmas music this Friday, we will remember their story and keep Marsha in our hearts throughout the Christmas season and always.

Please join us tonight in sending love and praying for peace for Mt. Vernon and the family, friends and loved ones of Marsha Light. Maybe even light up your own Christmas lights in her memory if you've put them up by now.
