I love all different genres of movies, but you just can't beat a good comedy! A group of writers at Rolling Stone recently put together a list of the 50 greatest comedies of the 21st century, and though I agree with a lot of the choices, one of my favorites somehow didn't make the cut! Before we get to that, though, here are the top 10:

10. State and Main (2000)

9. The 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005)

8. Shaun of the Dead (2004)

7. Toni Erdmann (2016)

6. Punch Drunk Love (2002)

5. Idiocracy (2008)

4. Step Brothers (2008)

3. Bridesmaids (2011)

2. In the Loop (2009)

1. Best in Show (2000)

After looking at this list, I was very surprised to discover that I've only seen three out of the top ten movies. In fact, I haven't even heard of most of them! Bridesmaids is definitely one of my favorite movies of all time, but my number one favorite, Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008), didn't make the top 10 or the top 50! I know that humor is subjective, but I believe that movie is HIGHLY underrated. Here's the trailer, just in case you've never seen it:
