This Weekend’s Grammys to Have a Bit of an Iowa Flavor

Music's biggest night, the Grammy Awards, are happening tonight, and a local candy company is adding a little bit of Iowa "flavor" to the festivities.

The Gazette reports that Betty Jane Candies of Cedar Rapids has been recruited to help fill the goody bags, or "swag bags" of the attendees. The company also did a similar project for the 2014 Oscars.

Each swag bag is valued at approximately $30,000 and will include Betty Jane's Gremlin Snackers--made of pecans, chocolate and caramel, and Betty Bites--pretzel bites covered in chocolate and caramel, along with other items including artwork, gift certificates for a spa week and more.
