Tuesday Top Teacher: Jennifer Hamel

Today we recognize Jennifer Hamel from Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids as our Top Teacher!

Jennifer was nominated by Tanya Kitterman, who says "Mrs. Hamel is a top Spanish teacher! I have a Freshman and Senior at Jefferson and both girls can't say enough about how wonderful she is. Mrs. Hamel took time to call our home and let us know that my girls do a great job in her class room, and that she appreciates them. Both of my girls lit up! We need more teachers like her. High School can be difficult and this made my girls feel good about themselves and want to work hard for such a great teacher!”

Each of our ‘Ten Top Teachers’ to be recognized will receive a prize pack from Tanger Outlet Center in Williamsburg, valued at $50. All ten teachers will then qualify for a grand prize drawing for a $650 prize pack from Tanger Outlet to be awarded on May 31.
