Due to inclement weather, we regret to announce the cancellation of this week's edition of Uptown Friday Nights, featuring Copperhead Creek.

The CBS2 WeatherFirst forecast calls for much-needed rain along with thunderstorms in the area, for tonight and into Saturday. Although Uptown is generally a rain-or-shine event, for the safety of the public, the danger of lightning is a consideration, so it was best not to wait it out and try to get the show in this week.

If you were considering joining us, thank you for your support. Uptown Friday Nights will be off next week as well, as country singer Jamey Johnson performs at the McGrath Amphtiheatre.

We look forward to seeing you for an exciting show the following week, Friday, July 27 with Alisabeth Von Presley. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m.for this huge performance and the music will start at 6.

Stay safe, enjoy the rest of your weekend, and be sure to sign up for your free tickets and food and beverage tokens to the next Uptown Friday Nights event today.
