Getting sick after eating one of your favorite foods is never a fun experience, and sometimes it turns you off to that food for a long time!

In case you didn't hear the story, last week I got that dreaded stomach bug that's been going around. All of a sudden I was puking and I didn't stop for approximately eight hours. I basically didn't eat anything for three days afterwards. It was that bad.

I'm fine now, but I've found myself mildly disgusted by something that I normally LOVE to eat. The last thing I ate on Wednesday before the puke-fest began was a Caesar salad, which is something I order for lunch 2-3 days a week. It's been almost a week, and just the thought of eating that makes me want to die. I'm afraid it's been ruined for me forever.

I can think of one other instance of this in my life, and it's from back when I was in high school. My mom had made an exceptional amount of banana bread and banana muffins, and for an entire week that's pretty much all I ate. My body didn't like that too much, and by the end of the week, my stomach was having some not-so-good issues. I won't go into details, but I will say that it didn't come back out via my mouth. I love banana bread now, but it took YEARS for me to eat it again.
