We had our company party yesterday, and like all Christmas Parties... what happens at the party STAYS at the party. So unfortunately, I can't post any pictures.  But I can give you some insight.

Like most, this party was packed with FOOD, and plenty of it, which always includes plenty of sweets.  Kudos to whoever brought the shrimp dip and to Eric Stone for the delicious apple, or was it rhubarb, pie.  Either way, YUMMM!  There were also plenty of ugly sweaters, complete with a vote for the best.  However, unfrotunately, I still don't own one.  I'll have to work on that for next year.

The party also included a Secret Santa gift exchange, and I now gladly own the "Big Daddy" soundtrack, as well as the first 2 Hootie and the Blowfish albums, as well as a bottle of wine.  I missed the "Toad the Wet Sprocket" CD though... bummer.

Finally, there was a Christmas Trivia contest, where I proudly took home the top prize with a perfect score of 10/10.  Not to brag, but I even got the tie-breaker right.  Woot woot!  Here's the quiz.  See how well you can do.  I'll post the answers on Christmas Day.

  1. What novelty song is also known as "Christmas Don't Be Late"?
  2. What "Rocky Mountain High" country singer was born on New Year's Eve, 1943?
  3. What was the first name of Scrooge's deceased partner, Marley?
  4. What did Grandma get run over by?
  5. Does Santa have a mustache?
  6. In "Do You Hear What I Hear?", what was 'dancing in the night'?
  7. What one reindeer is never mentioned in the book "The Night Before Christmas"?
  8. In "A Charlie Brown Christmas", what winter recreation is the cast of characters doing in the opening scene?
  9. What fabric is Frosty's hat made of?
  10. When we go over the river and through the woods, what kind of pie do we cheer for?

Bonus: Which reindeer name also describes a nasty sort of woman?

How'd you do?
