We've arisen to some foggy mornings the last couple of days. After a long winter of snow and ice hazards, 'tis the season to think we're out of the woods on dangerous weather-induced travel. Fog is one of the most dangerous weather conditions drivers face.

The "soupy stuff" not only cuts down on overall visibility, but limits contrast and can distort the perception of speed when driving.

When light hits the suspension of very fine drops of moisture, you get fog. As these droplets get smaller, fog gets thicker.

Take your time. That's about the best advice the experts can give. They recommend yellow or green fog lights because white lights contain more wavelengths.
