I finished 90% of my Christmas shopping yesterday. The best part? I didn't have to wait in any long lines.

I am so proud of myself right now. It's November 16th and I am pretty much DONE with the whole Christmas shopping thing. There are a few tiny things I still need to pick up, but there are still 38 more days until Christmas, so I think I'm fine.

Why am I telling you this? Because I want to HELP you. Both stores I went to yesterday and both websites I ordered from already had some stinkin' awesome sales going on. I was under the impression that I needed to wait until Black Friday to get really good deals, and I know I can't be the only one who thought that. If you're looking a buy a particular item and you KNOW that item is going to be at its lowest on Black Friday, then by all means, go out and buy it then. But, if you're not 100% sure what you're looking to buy yet, maybe go into a few stores right now or do a little browsing on a few websites. Almost every gift I bought at Target was on sale yesterday, including the things I ordered online. Some things were 10%, 15%, or 30% off, other items were $10 off, and I even bought a few things that were buy one, get one half off. Last night I took a trip to Old Navy and ended up getting 30-50% off all of the clothes I bought. Out of all the gifts I ordered from different websites, 100% of it was free shipping (I can't tell you where I ordered from because certain people I'm buying gifts for might see it). I ended up coming out under budget.

Like I said, some places have some fantastic Black Friday deals that you have to wait until Black Friday for, but if you hate looking for parking spots and spending an hour in line at the register, there are already some pretty darn good deals right now. They may not be AS fantastic as those Black Friday sales, but those percent-offs really add up quick!

Happy shopping!
