A pre-teen girl sprung into action when her infant sister stopped breathing, reports KWWL.

When 11-year-old Lyla Morgan of Marshalltown, Iowa noticed her baby sister had stopped breathing, she quickly blew a puff of air into the child's mouth. Next, she called 911 for further assistance.

When paramedics arrived on the scene, the infant was still somewhat unresponsive, but first responders were able to treat her. The baby was soon able to breathe again on her own.

Lyla's family and responders are crediting her with helping to save the child's life.

Unity Point Waterloo shared a video of Lyla and her sister to their Facebook page.
