Police officials continue to investigate the deaths of four people at a home in West Des Moines. Relatives discovered the bodies of the victims, including two children, on Saturday morning.

The Des Moines Register reports that the victims have been identified as 44-year-old Lavanya Sunkara and 41-year-old Chandrasekhar Sunkara. The two children were both boys, ages 15 and 10. Autopsies were planned to determine an official cause of death. Records indicate that the family had owned the home since March.

Des Moines police officials say that there is no danger to the community and that they are still trying to piece together what happened. Police say that the guests who discovered the bodies, also two adults and two children, had been staying with the victims as guests.

The Iowa Department of Public Safety says that Chandrasekhar Sunkara worked for the department in information technology for 11 years. He was not a sworn officer.
