A Cedar Rapids Couple Got Married On Their Lawn This Weekend
Nothing can stop true love!
Lots of people have had to cancel or postpone their wedding because of the coronavirus pandemic, but not Pat and Allison Fagan! The Cedar Rapids couple went ahead with their wedding plans this weekend, getting married on the front lawn of their home.
The couple, who has been together for over 10 years, ended up keeping their original wedding date, but they did have to alter some of their plans because of social distancing guidelines. According to KCRG, only immediate family members were allowed on the lawn, while other loved ones watched from their cars. It looks like everybody dressed to impress, though! Allison looks absolutely stunning in her wedding gown.
The coolest part of this story is the surprise ending! CBS 2 reports that a cousin set up a surprise drive-by parade for the couple. Tons of cars passed the house, honking their horns and holding up signs. You can watch it HERE.
Congratulations, Pat and Allison! We wish you a lifetime of happiness and we hope that you're able to celebrate with friends and family very soon!
