A Healthy, Unique New Restaurant is Coming to Cedar Rapids [UPDATE]

Prepare to "unevolve!"

The city of Cedar Rapids will soon be getting a brand new eatery on Blairs Ferry Road! everbowl, a California-based chain, is moving into the space at 1100 Blairs Ferry Road, which is the same complex as Buffalo Wild Wings and iGYM, right next to Target.

One of the folks helping to bring everbowl to the state of Iowa is Justin Sloan and his firm Sloan Capital. Justin told me:

"I found this company about 18 months ago in San Diego and became beyond obsessed with it. I've always thought there should be healthier faster options where people can feel good about the food that they're fueling themselves with."

So what exactly does everbowl serve? According to a press release, "everbowl restaurants feature lively, colorful, and inspirational décor and an innovative menu of high-fiber, antioxidant-laden, vitamin-rich bowls and smoothies." You can choose from menu items like the Blue Lagoon Bowl, the Tropical Bowl, the PB Cacao Smoothie, or the Matcha Magic Smoothie, but you also have the option to build your own bowl or smoothie! Just choose a base or two, like acai, pitaya, or vanilla, and then select from a variety of nuts, fruits, and other healthy toppings.

Justin informed me that there are actually six everbowl locations in the works across Iowa, with the Cedar Rapids location being the first to open in the state. There isn't an official opening date just yet, but Justin says we are only a few weeks away! You can read more about everbowl HERE.
