A New Cedar Rapids Restaurant Officially Opens Today!

Get ready to eat, Cedar Rapids! The Edison Pub and Eatery will open for business TODAY!

We found out a few months ago that The Edison Pub and Eatery would be opening up at 475 Northland Ave., right across from Volley's where La Camelia used to be. Now we know a little bit more about the new restaurant. According to their official Facebook page, they'll be open for business starting today, March 11th! They made the announcement on a photo of their dinner menu:

The Edison also has a pretty good-looking lunch menu:

Some of the items I'm looking forward to trying are the Loaded Tots, the Roasted Chicken Sandwich, the Baked Mac & Cheese, the Corned Beef & Cabbage, and the Edison Prime Rib, which will only be available on Fridays and Saturdays. Here is a sneak peek look at a few of the menu options that they posted on Facebook:

If you want to give The Edison Pub and Eatery a try, their hours are:

• Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Friday & Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
• Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
