A Popular Cedar Rapids Mexican Restaurant Has Opened 2nd Location

Get ready for more Mexican food!

El Bajio Mexican Restaurant at 555 Gateway Pl SW is consistently one of the highest-rated restaurants in Cedar Rapids. With a 4.5 star rating on Yelp and 4.8 stars on Facebook, it's no wonder that the business was looking to expand!

Earlier this year, El Bajio announced on Facebook that they are preparing to open another location in Cedar Rapids. That new location is now OPEN! The official address for Bajio Blairs Ferry is 1140 Blairs Ferry Rd NE, which is the same complex that Dunn Brothers Coffee and The Good Feet Store are located. El Bajio is encouraging patrons to follow the new location's Facebook account HERE.

Bajio Blairs Ferry has posted a couple of updates on Facebook since opening their doors a few days ago. A post from September 10th reads:

"We are still working out the kinks so please bear with us while we open slowly. Our menu is limited right now but we’re adding more items daily and expect to be offering the entire menu very soon. We are running some great specials for you while we work towards offering our full menu." 

One of the specials that the restaurant is currently running is a Happy Hour. Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., you can get $3 non-premium domestic tallboys and $1 off all liquor. They are also offering the $3 non-premium domestic tallboys during all Hawkeye and NFL games. Bajio Blairs Ferry writes, "we have a lot of fun exciting things planned in the near future and will keep you updated as they get closer!!"
