Say WHAT?!

As many of you know, one of my favorite foods on the planet is mac & cheese. In fact, my best friend and I drove 2.5 hours roundtrip to Bettendorf this weekend just so we could try a mac & cheese burrito. It was 1000% worth it (read more about my trip to Cheesy Cow Mac & Cheesery HERE).

The good news is, I won't have to travel nearly as far to try a new mac & cheese creation (although, I definitely would)! According to a new Facebook post, the wildly popular new restaurant Frydae on 10th street in Uptown Marion has just added not one, not two, but THREE types of mac & cheese fries to their menu.

That's right, in addition to all the other delicious street fry options on the menu, customers can now order Buffalo Chicken Mac, Chili-Mac, or Jalapeno Bacon Mac. Personally, I think the Buffalo Chicken Mac sounds the best, so if I can get there later this afternoon, that's the one I'll be trying.

If you live here in the Corridor and you haven't heard of Frydae, you're seriously missing out. The recent addition to Uptown Marion specializes in fries and fancy milkshakes. I have yet to try one of the milkshakes, but I can assure you that the Poutine Fries are AMAZING.

Frydae is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., but they've been so popular since opening that they sometimes run out of items earlier in the day. You can check out more information about the restaurant and see the latest updates HERE.

In addition to Frydae, a bunch of other local restaurants have opened or reopened these past few months! Check out the list HERE.
