Another new restaurant is ready to open here in Eastern Iowa!

Back in August, we told you that a Quad Cities restaurant by the name of Foundry Food + Tap was expanding into the Corridor. The first restaurant opened back in 2019 at 4850 Competition Drive in Bettendorf, but now there's a second location ready to open in Coralville!

Foundry 2 will officially open for business at 3266 Crosspark Road this Wednesday, November 17th at 11 a.m. Some Iowans got a taste of the restaurant early when it opened up this past weekend for a special sneak peek. That includes local celebrity Joe Sample, who posted his rave review on the Deetz - Let's Support Local Facebook page on Friday! He specifically mentioned the Ribeye, the Flat Iron Steak, the Portobello Mushrooms, and the Honey Sriracha Brussel Sprouts.

If you're familiar with the Bettendorf location, then there's a good chance you'll enjoy the one in Coralville. Brianna Martinez of Platinum Management QCA told me back in August that the new location is very similar to the original. They were initially hoping to open by Christmastime, so it appears that the restaurant is right on schedule!

Not only will Foundry 2 will be open for lunch and dinner, but it'll be open for late night dining, too. The Facebook page says that the new restaurant will serve half price appetizers and flatbreads every night from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. For the latest updates, you can follow Foundry Food + Tap's Facebook page HERE.
