A Bettendorf, Iowa restaurant is making its way to Coralville this year!

If you've spent some time in the Quad Cities, then you've probably heard of Foundry Food + Tap. The popular eatery is located at 4850 Competition Drive in Bettendorf and first opened back in 2019. Their website says they offer "delicious food, quality ingredients, good company, & a great atmosphere." If you haven't been down there to try it yet, we have some good news! A second location will open here in the Corridor soon.

The new Foundry Food + Tap is moving in to 3266 Crosspark Road in Coralville. I spoke with Brianna Martinez of Platinum Management QCA, and she told me that the new location will be very much like the one in Bettendorf. She said it has the "same architect company, same menu, and even some similar faces." They chose the city of Coralville because it's in an up and coming area, plus it's close to a big college town.

Let's talk food! Foundry Food + Tap has a big menu with a ton of great-looking options, including Premium Wings, Sticky Asian Glazed Ribs, Piadina Flatbreads, steaks, pastas, fajitas, burgers, sandwiches, and more. They also offer a Prime-Rib Brunch on Sundays that has a ham carving station, an omelet and eggs benedict station, and a crepe station! As far as drinks go, there are lots of beers on tap, many from Iowa breweries like SingleSpeed, Five Cities, Toppling Goliath, Exile, and Iowa Brewing Company. Brianna says they will have "amazing" happy hour and late night specials and will stay open until 1 a.m.

There is no official opening date for the new Foundry Food + Tap in Coralville, but they hope to open by Christmas time. In the meantime, here are some photos of the food from their Facebook page so you can get excited!
