Glamberts, new Adam Lambert music is coming! (We know, we're freaking out too!)

The American Idol alum shared a snippet of his upcoming new single, "Ghost Town," on Instagram on Monday (March 23)

"GHOST TOWN. April 21st," Lambert captioned the black and white clip, which features a haunting whistle over a steady drum beat. As the music plays in the background, Lambert fixes the camera with a drop-dead sexy, come-hither stare. (His black leather jacket only adds to the badassery.) The vibe is all very spooky, mysterious and intriguing.

In fact, it looks like Lambert's upcoming album, The Original High, is going to encompass that new sound, he recently revealed to Australian Sunrise.

"I’m so excited. I created this album with Max Martin and Shellback as the two executive producers — we’ve been working on it for over a year," the "What Do You Want From Me" singer explained. "I think it's kind of a bit of a new sound, a new energy. I'm excited for people to hear it."

The day before he released the snippet of "Ghost Town," Lambert Instagrammed another teaser photo that gave fans even more of a clue about the direction of his new single. You can check out that pic — a mysterious quote — in the photo below. And obviously, don't forget to listen to the clip of "Ghost Town" in the Insta vid above. Today is an awesome day, Glamberts!
