If you haven't visited Adventureland yet this summer, right now is the perfect time to plan a trip! Their new rollercoaster The Phoenix is officially open to riders!

The newest addition to the park was announced back in December and was expected to be up and running in June. It was only a few days late, with Adventureland announcing on Facebook that the 4th of July would be the first opportunity for guests to give it a try.

According to the original Facebook post:

"Manufactured by Maurer Rides from Germany, this new addition will reach speeds up to 40mph, heights of over 50 feet and riders will reach a new level of spin-sanity as the cars rotate a full 360 degrees!"

The Phoenix is located at the end of the Main Boulevard where The Inverter and the Super Screamer once stood. If you get a chance to ride it, be sure to let us know how it was! I look forward to riding it myself when I head to Oktoberfest later this year :)
