An Indoor Inflatable Facility Will Open Soon in Cedar Rapids

We all know that Eastern Iowa has a few trampoline parks, but now Cedar Rapids will be home to an indoor playhouse of a different kind!

This week I came across a Facebook event from a company called DSM Inflatables. They are holding a contest to name their new indoor inflatable facility in Cedar Rapids. I had no idea that this type of business was even coming to the Corridor, so I knew I had to learn more!

After reaching out to DSM Inflatables, I discovered that the new "all-day playhouse" will be located at Lindale Mall in Cedar Rapids. Lindale Mall confirmed that they will be moving into the former Children’s Place, which is in the main hall just past the food court. A rep from DSM Inflatables told me:
"We are hoping to have approximately 6 to 10 inflatables that we will rotate. We will have a mix of units from toddlers to teens. The price range will be $6 to $9 a day. We also have access to the old Younkers building within the mall where we can have private birthday parties. The private birthday parties range from $199 to $249."

The grand opening for the facility is scheduled for Saturday, February 15th, but before they can open, they need to come up with a name! That's where you come in. DSM Inflatables is asking that Eastern Iowans post name ideas on their Facebook page. Next week they will choose their favorite, and then the person who suggested it will receive one week of unlimited play for their child! You can submit your idea for a name HERE.
