Another Jersey Mike’s Location Has Opened in the Corridor

Subs for everyone!

Late last year, the popular sandwich chain Jersey Mike's opened their very first location here in the Corridor. The shop is located at 6095 Carlson Way in Marion, which is over on the east side of the city. Then, back in March of 2021, the city of Cedar Rapids got its own location at 5240 Edgewood Rd NE. Now, residents in another city in the Corridor get to enjoy everything that Jersey Mike's has to offer!

Over in Coralville, A Jersey Mike's has officially opened at 3268 Crosspark Road, across from Hy-Vee. They are open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and are looking to hire more employees, according to the Facebook page.

If you're not familiar with Jersey Mike's, the nationwide chain offers "fresh sliced, authentic Northeast-American style sub sandwiches on fresh baked bread." A popular way to order your sub is "Mike's Way," which includes lettuce, tomatoes, onions, oil, vinegar, and spices. Jersey Mike's refers to their red wine vinegar and an olive oil blend as "the Juice," and it's one of the things the chain is known for. I have yet to try one of my subs "Mike's Way," but only because I have never ordered a cold sub from Jersey Mike's. I started by ordering a hot sub and now I can't stop! My favorite is the Chicken Philly.
