Did Arnold Schwarzenegger die? According to Donald Trump, the actor is dead.

On Thursday (July 11), the Terminator star and former Governor of California was forced to clarify he’s very much alive after the president claimed he "died" during a White House Social Media Summit. “Arnold Schwarzenegger. You know what? He died. I was there,” Trump told the crowd.

Though it appears Trump was speaking figuratively and was referring Schwarzenneger's ratings on Celebrity Apprentice after he took over in 2015, that didn't stop the 71-year-old from setting the record straight.

"I'm still here," Schwarzenegger confirmed on Twitter.

"Want to compare tax returns," he added, hitting Trump below the belt because he refuses to release his tax returns despite having promising voters he'd show them before he was elected in 2016.

Schwarzenegger later tweeted that “instead of being distracted by television ratings, let’s fix our politics."

The two celebrities-turned-politicians have been publicly shading each other ever since Schwarzenegger announced he would not be voting for Trump in the 2016 presidential election.

"For the first time since I became a citizen in 1983, I will not vote for the Republican candidate for President," he wrote in his statement posted to his social media at the time.
