Ashton Kutcher Visited Kids at the Iowa City Children’s Hospital

I've always liked Ashton Kutcher, but since moving to Iowa, I like him even more. I had no idea how many different charities and organizations he supports, even right here in our state. Ashton was born in Cedar Rapids back in 1978 and spent his freshman year at the University of Iowa. Although he's all rich and famous now and doesn't live here anymore, he has never seemed to forget his Iowa roots.

In case you haven't seen it yet, a post from the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital went viral yesterday. It showed photos of Ashton Kutcher with various patients at the hospital in Iowa City during a surprise visit. The post from the hospital's official Facebook page reads:

"We’re so grateful to Ashton Kutcher for visiting with our patients and families during a recent trip back to Iowa!"

We applaud Ashton Kutcher for taking the time to visit with the kids in the hospital and for making us all Iowa proud!
