BBQ and Live Music is Coming to the Amphitheatre This Summer

If you're a fan of great BBQ and live music, then The Roundup is the perfect event for you! Formerly known as the Cedar Rapids BBQ Roundup, The Roundup is set to return to the McGrath Amphitheatre June 24th through the 26th.

Described as "the tastiest music festival in Cedar Rapids," The Roundup is a three-day celebration filled with pulled pork, ribs, cornbread, mac & cheese, beans, brisket, and more. The event was cancelled last year due to the pandemic, but that just means you'll need to eat double the food this year to make up for it! Here's a rundown of each day of the 2021 event:

    • Free from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
    • $3 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.

• Friday, June 25th
  • Admission
    • Free from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
    • BBQ Food Court Only from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. - Free
    • BBQ Food Court + Music Park from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. - $10 in advance/$12 at the gate
    • VIP tickets - $40
  • Entertainment
    • Local opener TBA
    • Pure Prairie League
    • Orleans
• Saturday, June 26th
  • Admission
    • BBQ Food Court Only - Free all day
    • BBQ Food Court + Music Park - $10 in advance/$12 at the gate
    • VIP tickets - $40
  • Entertainment
    • Local opener TBA
    • Surf Zombies
    • Men Without Hats
    • A Flock of Seagulls
