New Store Confirmed for Old Bed, Bath, and Beyond Location

A vacant Bed, Bath, and Beyond store in Cedar Rapids has reportedly found a new tenant.

According to documents detailing sign permits, it appears that Harbor Freight Tools will add another Cedar Rapids location, the old Bed, Bath, and Beyond at 4840 1st. Ave. NE.  They currently have a store located at 3750 Williams Blvd. SW. The sign permits were filed in late November of 2023.

According to their website, Harbor Freight Tools offers quality tools at low prices. We still don't have information on when the new Harbor Freight store in Cedar Rapids will open. Signage has yet to go up, and it is unknown whether renovations inside the store are underway. It's safe to say, however, that the new location should be open sometime in 2024.
