‘Better Call Saul’ Will Keep ‘Breaking Bad’ With Season 4 Renewal
In need of someone to helm a fourth season on AMC? Better Call Saul! Yep, after some mild trepidation, the Breaking Bad prequel has officially been served with a court order for new episodes in 2018.
AMC made Better Call Saul Season 4 official just over a week after Season 3’s finale, though no exact end-date for Jimmy McGill’s transformation into Saul Goodman has been set. The fourth season will reportedly consist of ten episodes, while AMC said of the renewal:
Supporting artists we respect and admire; delivering truly outstanding character development and nuanced dramatic twists and turns; continuing a legacy of bold creative choices; loving writing that is the best in the business: Truly, ‘S’all good, man.’ Congratulations to Vince, Peter, Bob and everyone involved with ‘Better Call Saul.’ Bring on season four!
The new season will presumably continue Giancarlo Esposito’s Breaking Bad return as Gus Fring, while another major player in the Saul Season 3 finale may not be so deep-fried as we left him, either.
We’ll hear more in the coming months, but should Better Call Saul Season 4 start to wrap up the Breaking Bad prequel? Is Jimmy finally slippin’ into Saul?
