While 2020 has closed down many things it looks as though Black Friday and Cyber Monday will still be on this year. Shopping & Trends Expert Sara Skirboll shared some new studies and tips about shopping in 2020.

Skirboll advises consumers to start shopping now. To avoid shipping delays. Most stores already have discounted prices and holiday sales, so it's a great time to already get started.

RetailMeNot has put out a lot of data and ways to save money this Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Shopping & Trends Expert Sara Skirboll also is giving great tips on how to save money too. Because of COVID-19, a lot more people are shopping online. Also, because of COVID-19, stores are trying to do their best to continue to save money. With that being said, less retails will be offering discounts.

Over three in five (61%) retailers plan to offer more holiday discounts than they traditionally do because of the economic challenges in America.


The data for Black Friday 2020 as of right now is very different than that of past years. If you're planning on shopping online you are not alone.

88% of consumers say they will not shop the traditional in-store doorbuster deals this year, and Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping will occur mostly online.

Reports show that Curbside pickup has also grown considerably during this pandemic. Skirboll gave her insight about in store, and curbside pickup.

Take Advantage of Retailers Offering “Buy Online Pick Up in Store”. Most retailers will continue to offer buy online, pickup in-store (53%) or, return in-store (56%) during the holiday season this year.
