New Business Opens In Cedar Falls

It's been a bustling few months in Cedar Falls, especially for new businesses and restaurants. Another new business is finally opening up in Downtown Cedar Falls.

A new hair salon opened up at the end of September right in the heart of Downtown Cedar Falls. Haven Salon, located at 100 East 2nd Street, is a "collective space for independent hair stylists." 

As of right now there are three stylists who will be using this space, but they are looking for more!

They are looking for independent stylists, and are encouraging anyone interested to direct message them on their social media platforms. If you are interested in an appointment as well, it is reccomended to direct message one of their stylists.

This new salon will have an open house on November 5th from 2-7 PM. According to the business's Facebook page, there will be food, prizes, and drinks at this event.

There have been so many new businesses opening up in the Cedar Valley. A new dumpling and beer spot will soon be open to the public in Cedar Falls. 

There has been no shortage of new eateries in the Cedar Valley over the past few months. The town of Waverly will be seeing a new brewery open up sometime this fall.

Cedar Falls has seen quite a few new restaurants open up in the historic Downtown district. Carter House is open right next to the Black Hawk Hotel which opened late this summer. Also, a restaurant called Georges opened in the same spot that Santa's Workshop always resided in on Main Street.
