One of the most beloved events in the city of Cedar Rapids is hoping for a bigger and better year than ever! The schedule for this year's downtown Cedar Rapids Farmers Markets has been released. As COVID numbers continue to go down and restrictions have been greatly reduced, everyone is hoping that this year's markets feel a bit more like business as usual.

The Downtown Cedar Rapids Farmers Markets are one of the largest outdoor markets in the Midwest. This year's events are sponsored by Cedar Rapids Bank and Trust. The markets open up for business at 7:30 a.m. and close up shop at noon. This season's markets kick off on Saturday, May 28th!

Other Saturday market dates include June 4th and 18th, July 2nd and 16th, August 6th and 20th, and a special Fall market on September 17th. Also returning this year is the very popular Market After Dark which will be held on August 27th from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

If you'd like to sell your goods at the downtown Cedar Rapids Farmers Markets, you can still apply to be a vendor HERE. The selection of the first round of vendors is currently underway. You can still apply and the second round of vendors will then be chosen by the end of April.
