Cedar Rapids Shop With a Cop

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA – December 3, 2013 – Pre-selected children will once again be able to Shop with a Santa Cop on Wednesday, December 4, 2012, at Target East, 1030 Blairs Ferry Rd NE. Santa Cop is a program sponsored by the Cedar Rapids Police Protective Association (CRPPA). Children are identified through various community agencies (Schools, Big Brothers/Big Sisters). This allows just under 100 kids to shop for winter coats, boots, hats, gloves, winter clothing and a couple of toys from Santa Cop. The CRPPA does fundraising throughout the year to purchase items twice a year. The first Shop with a Cop is done prior to the start of school.
